Arbat
The Old Arbat street is a smart presentation of the 19th century Moscow, where lived Alexander Pushkin, where actors, singers and artists did their creative work. It is still the place where you can meet such gifted people. The street used to be and it is a favorite place of citizens for promen The street got its name from an Arab word “rabat” meaning “a suburb”. If you came the street yiu will feel the atmosphere of the city and you will be among the locals.
You will see here a Hard Rock Cafe, 18th and 19th residential buildings and one of the most famous Moscow’s theaters - the Drama Theater named after Evgeniy Vakhtagov. The guide will translate the greetings of the famous people to the gests of Moscow.

But in Stalin’s time as many other churches it was blown up and an open air swimming pool was built in its place. In the 1990s the Cathedral was built from the scratch on people’s donations.
